Until a solution comes out (which won’t happen), I need a break from this game. In my other playthrough I wasn’t able to complete Randolph Safehouse. It seems like the Railroad has the most severe quest breaking bugs out of all the factions. It is the fifth major installment in the Fallout series, and was released. I have no more motivation to keep playing this game. Fallout 4 is a post apocalyptic role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. I went to a terminal and attempted to load the holotape into it but the holotape is not in my inventory. I believe I was supposed to receive the holotape from an ally before going to this location.

On a main quest mission later in the game, one of the parameters is to load the network scanner holotape into a terminal. That is a separate holotape apparently.Īny solutions? Or is this really it? My last save before recieving this quest was almost 4 hours ago before Institutionalized (which makes sense because I spoke to the Railroad as soon as I got out).
I entered with the BOS and successfully completed Outside the Wire. Fix: Using MQ206/207 Network Scanner Holotape out of sequence can trigger a script which locks player fast travel controls.
I have already completed Institutionalized. All solutions are either fixing the ability to warn Desdemona about the BOS at the end of the quest or people missing the encrypted message holotape, which, again, is not what I’m missing. I’ve also downloaded the Cheat Terminal as a desperate measure to see if I can add it to my inventory but it’s not a listed item as far as I can tell. Search for jobs related to Fallout 76 use the project siphon holotape to extract the data or hire on the worlds largest freelancing marketplace with 21m+ jobs.

I’ve downloaded the Unofficial Patch and that didn’t solve it.
Is there a work around? I have tried stealing the other Network Scanner from Ingram but apparently it’s not the same one and it does nothing. I cannot communicate with Patriot because of this. I do not have the Network Scanner holotape that is necessary to continue the quest. I’m not missing the Encrypted Message Holotape. I’ve searched for this and apparently there’s only a couple of people who have run into this and none of the comments are helpful.
